Reaction Journey brings Missioned Souls reaction videos into a searchable catalog independent of YouTube’s recommendation algorithm. Scheduled discovery and channel notifications help find uploads without waiting for them to appear in your recommendations. Discovery is ongoing, so a newly cataloged video may be an older upload.
Browse full reactions, discover reactor channels, and sort by upload date, discovery date, ratings, views, discussion, or reactor size.
Follow Missioned Souls, reactors, and songs; save individual favorites and track watch status.
Personalize themes, layouts, filters, grouping, and visible details; save reusable views and account defaults.
Rate reactions, share reviewed comments and replies, join fan chats, and find your mentions.
Suggest missing reactions and report relevance problems. Earn contribution points and recognition for verified help.

Reaction Journey is dedicated to Missioned Souls. It is an independent fan community. Videos remain hosted by YouTube, availability can change, and imported statistics may be historical snapshots. Automated metadata matching does not watch or verify a video’s contents.

My Feed: tabs, search, and sorting
All reactions shows the catalog subject to your filters.
New today shows videos newly cataloged today using your browser’s local date, not necessarily uploaded today.
Following shows matches to your account’s follows.
Favorites shows individual videos you starred.
Community finds shows catalog matches added through accepted community submissions.
Search a song, reaction, or reactor searches titles, channel names, and known song names.
Format offers All formats, Full-length, or Shorts; review status offers Confirmed or Probable.
These controls combine with preferences: choosing Shorts will still show none while Hide Shorts is enabled.
Confirmed is a metadata or moderator classification, not a guarantee that someone watched the video.
Sort by Newest uploads, Highest rated, Most viewed, Most discussed, Reactor size, Recently discovered, or Newest reactor.
Catalog counts describe the loaded catalog; the filtered result count describes your current view.
Reaction cards, watch lists, ratings, and comments
Open a reaction’s discussion to view its details, rate it, comment, or request removal.
Open the YouTube link to watch at its source; preview playback follows YouTube and browser rules.
Use the watch-status selector to track a video’s status and the star to add or remove a Favorite.
Favorites and Following are different: a Favorite saves an individual video; a follow selects future matching uploads.
Rate 1–5 for reaction quality and insight, then Save rating.
Every member’s rating has equal weight; changing your rating does not earn more points.
Submit comment for review sends your comment to moderators before public display.
Reply starts a response; Edit resubmits an existing comment for review; Delete removes your own contribution.
Like, Block, and Report appear where available.
Blocking hides that member’s content for you.
For Request video removal, select Wrong performer, Not a reaction, Short or excerpt, Video unavailable, Duplicate listing, or Other relevance issue; explain the problem and Send removal request.
The listing remains until a moderator acts.
Disagreement or a low rating alone is not grounds for removal.
Following and Reactors
In Reactors, search channel names, inspect available subscriber/reaction counts, Open channel on YouTube, and click + Follow or Following to toggle a channel follow.
Following lists performer, reactor, and song follows; Unfollow removes one.
Enter a song title and click Follow song; matching uses text in the known song name or video title and can include similarly named songs.
View followed reactions opens My Feed’s Following tab.
The Following includes selector defaults to followed reactors and songs when you have them; if none exist, performer follows apply.
All follows also includes every reaction to a followed performer.
Because this service covers Missioned Souls, following the performer alone includes its whole catalog.
Other feed filters still apply.
The Follow performer button toggles Missioned Souls; Manage follows opens the Following page when All performers is selected.
Saved Views
Save current feed or Save as new view opens the naming dialog.
Enter a descriptive name and Save view, or Cancel.
Open view restores its filters and layout.
Make default selects the saved view for future visits; Delete removes the saved view without deleting videos, favorites, or follows.
Saved views save settings, not a frozen copy of results: newly cataloged matching videos can appear later.
Appearance & preferences / Customize feed
Both buttons open Make it yours.
Changes preview immediately.
Save as default writes your preferences to your account for other devices.
Save as new view stores a named combination; Close dismisses the drawer and is not a Save button.
Appearance includes Theme (light/dark/system), Accent (teal/blue/violet), Feed layout (cards/compact/large/table), Density (compact/standard/spacious), Thumbnail size, and Cards per row (2–5).
Organize your feed includes Group by (none/performer/reactor/song/genre/date/source), Default landing view (All reactions/New today/Favorites/Following/Community finds), Default saved view, Uploaded in the past, From date, Through date, Minimum subscribers, Minimum rating, and Reactor/Song/Genre contains.
Hide Shorts, Hide watched videos, Only confirmed reactions, and Only followed reactors are additional filters.
Only followed reactors applies even outside Following.
Detail toggles select Upload date, Community rating, Reactor subscribers, Views, Likes, Comment count, Performer, Song, Genre, and Discovery date.
Autoplay requests automatic preview playback; browser restrictions can prevent it.
A default saved view can override other default settings when opened.
The Following includes choice is a temporary browsing choice, not currently stored with saved preferences.
Chat Rooms and Mentions
Choose a room to open its messages.
Send message posts the text you entered; use @ followed by a member’s full display name for a mention.
Messages refresh approximately every five seconds while the chat page is active and visible.
Room badges show unread activity; the active count reflects recent presence, not total membership.
Chat does not earn contribution points.
Own-message Edit/Delete and other-message Reply/Like/Block/Report controls appear when applicable.
Mentions collects matching chat and comment mentions; Open conversation opens the room or video discussion.
No personal information, harassment, or spam.
Being muted prevents posting until the restriction expires or a moderator removes it.
My Profile & Activity and submitting reactions
Save display name updates the public name used on contributions and leaderboards.
Submit a reaction opens the missing-video form.
Paste a direct YouTube video URL, choose Missioned Souls, explain why it belongs, and click Suggest video.
Submissions await moderator verification; duplicates, already pending records, and exclusions can be rejected.
Your contributions and review decisions shows outcomes and moderator notes; Your recent points shows awards.
Performer recommendations are closed because Reaction Journey is dedicated to Missioned Souls.
Points & Reputation
First rating of a video earns +1, up to 10 awards/day.
Approved comments earn +3, up to 3/day.
Accepted new reaction submissions earn +20, up to 5/day.
The first confirmed relevance correction earns +5, up to 5/day.
Daily award limits reset at midnight UTC; reviewed contributions count on the approval date.
Duplicate discoveries, unconfirmed reports, rating changes, chat, and moderator self-approvals do not earn additional points.
Hidden/reversed contributions can reverse their awards.
Contributor starts at 25 points, Reaction scout at 100, Catalog curator at 250, and Community champion at 1,000.
Badges confer recognition, not moderator permissions; points have no cash value.
The page shows your history, total, and community leaderboard.
Discovery status & catalog coverage
Expand this panel in My Feed to see the latest finished run, recent batches, recent-upload coverage, and history backlog.
Channels checked in the past 24 hours measures successful recent-upload checks; it is a rolling window and can fall when older checks expire.
Historical pages are separate and do not count as fresh coverage.
A succeeded run completed its allocated work, not the entire catalog.
A partial run can still check channels and add videos while retaining history or stopping at a budget.
Newly cataloged IDs are newly stored video IDs; their upload dates may be old.
Recent/history/performer-search counters identify their sources.
API calls count request attempts, not Google’s definitive quota usage.
Elapsed time is wall time; summed API and database timings can overlap and should not be added to estimate duration.
Uploads examined measures processing work, not new reactions.
Imported statistics are dated snapshots, not real-time YouTube analytics.
Scheduled checks and YouTube notifications complement each other; neither guarantees immediate or complete discovery.
Troubleshooting and support
If a view is empty, clear search/date/numeric filters, check Hide Shorts and Only confirmed reactions, and verify your follows.
If Following shows everything, check whether Missioned Souls is your only follow or whether All follows is selected.
If a saved individual video is missing, use Favorites rather than Following.
After an update, hard refresh with Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows.
If sign-in loops, use the latest email link and ask the administrator to check site/redirect URLs.
For Catalog, Social service, or Performer management temporarily unavailable, retry later and report the exact message and time to the administrator.
A database quota error cannot be fixed by a browser refresh.
If discovery is stale, an administrator should inspect scheduled runs, secrets, and database limits.

YouTube Terms opens YouTube’s terms.

Moderator & administrator help
Moderator Queue: review safely
This menu is available only to designated moderators.
Refresh reloads uncertain matches, submissions, content reports, and performer settings.
Open the YouTube link and verify Missioned Souls and a full reaction before deciding.
Approve publishes the selected eligible match; Exclude rejects that match and records its exclusion.
Mark as Short marks the video’s shared format SHORT and excludes the selected performer match.
It does not delete the video from YouTube.
Select visible (up to 50) selects visible review items; Approve selected, Exclude selected, and Mark selected as Short apply explicit decisions.
Individual and bulk actions can differ from the global strong-preview publication action.
Notes and review history remain recorded.
Recheck previews and strong matches
Start recheck previews enables background metadata rechecks and starts a batch.
Recheck next batch now processes another batch; Pause rechecks stops background preview work.
Previewing alone never publishes or removes videos.
Review group filters All groups, Strong matches, Possible Shorts / excerpts, Possibly unrelated, Uncertain evidence, Moderator / performer holds, or Not rechecked yet.
Strong matches require a known reactor, exact performer evidence, reaction wording, and duration over three minutes.
Metadata cannot prove video contents.
Publish up to 50 strong preview matches applies up to 50 fresh eligible strong results across the queue, not just checked rows or the visible page.
It preserves exclusions and protected decisions.
Preview eligibility can expire or change; a zero result means no eligible current matches.
Shorts/unrelated suggestions remain for explicit review.
Missioned Souls discovery settings
Settings opens the Missioned Souls profile.
Preserve its canonical name.
Official channel/website identifies the performer; Alternate names permits up to four verified aliases, one per line.
Broad aliases can create false matches.
Initial history scan offers 30 days, 90 days, one year, or older history; changing aliases or the window starts a fresh search.
Review policy either holds matches or publishes clear full-length reactions automatically; ambiguous/short matches remain for review.
Enable ongoing discovery controls new discovery for Missioned Souls.
The chat option controls its published fan room.
Coverage status Draft hides coverage; Published makes it available to members.
Save settings stores changes; Save & find reactions also starts a search.
Find reactions runs discovery for the profile, subject to quota and run budgets.
Review results opens up to 100 uncertain candidates; Select up to 50 awaiting review and the selected-action buttons apply explicit decisions.
Other performers cannot be added in this Missioned Souls-only service.
Submissions, comments, content reports, and mutes
Refresh review queue reloads community submissions, comments/replies, and relevance reports.
Accept or reject with an explanatory note after checking evidence.
Accepting a verified removal report excludes the catalog match; accepted new submissions can publish a new match.
Relevant respectful criticism is allowed regardless of its rating.
Content reports & chat moderation offers Dismiss report (no content removal), Hide content, or Hide & mute 24h.
Temporary mutes lists current restrictions; Unmute removes one.
Moderators should not approve their own submissions for points.
Keep existing exclusions unless there is a deliberate, supported correction.
Administrator configuration and deployment
In Cloudflare, the reactionjourney Worker uses D1 binding DB for reaction-signal-catalog.
The scheduled trigger is */15 * * * * (every 15 minutes).
YOUTUBE_API_KEY must be a secret; never paste it into public source, chat, or screenshots.
SUPABASE_URL and SUPABASE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY configure authentication; never substitute a privileged service-role key in browser configuration.
COMMUNITY_MODERATOR_EMAILS designates moderator email addresses; MEMBER_EMAIL_ALLOWLIST restricts invited access when configured.
YOUTUBE_PUSH_CALLBACK_URL must be the public website origin followed by /api/youtube/push.
Connect / renew channel notifications renews channel subscriptions; received notifications still require API checks and matching.
DISCOVERY_DAILY_SEARCH_LIMIT currently limits performer searches to 20/day; other API calls and other scripts using the Google project also consume applicable quota.
Google Cloud’s YouTube Data API quota page is the source for actual quota usage.
In Supabase Authentication, maintain the Site URL and permitted redirect URLs and enabled email/Google providers.
Domain changes require checking these settings and the callback URL.
Current GitHub deployment builds with npm run build and deploys with npm run deploy; the deploy script applies D1 migrations before publishing.
Keep applied migrations, add new ones, and inspect the build log before hard refreshing.
Cloudflare database metrics show row reads/writes; database quota, worker capacity, YouTube quota, and sign-in provider limits are separate checks.
A successful deployment does not guarantee healthy discovery: verify recent runs, catalog loading, login, and moderation.
